Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive!
That should be Jack's credo. When he returned to Salem this year,
Jack had only one goal: to reunite with Jennifer. She was open to
a reconciliation, provided Jack could show that he had finally grown
up. Unfortunately, that's when the situation went from bad to worse.
Will his scheming cost him his future with Jennifer?

Jack felt that Jennifer was really asking him to squelch that
one thing that made their marriage a fun adventure -- his free spirit.
Believing that he knew what was best, Jack decided to win back Jennifer,
but on his own terms. He pretended to date his new friend Greta,
hoping that it would drive his ex-wife wild with jealousy. The ploy
was beginning to work... until Jack realized that sweet, unsuspecting
Greta had started to fall for him!
Out Of Control
To keep Greta from having her heart broken, as well as continuing
to use her to make Jennifer wish she had him back, Jack claimed
that he was gay! Greta accepted Jack as a platonic pal -- |
rather too easily, in Jack's estimation.
She then went a step further. Greta resolved to coax Jack out of
the closet! Jack's plan was unraveling before his very eyes. In
the meantime, Greta realizes there is a surefire way to help Jack
adjust to life as an openly gay man -- find him an appealing companion.
Greta approaches her gay buddy Harold and sells him on what a great
guy Jack is. Great is thrilled now that she thinks she's making
a love connection. Would she still be so happy if she finds out
that she's a pawn in Jack's game?
Turnabout Is Fair Play
Meanwhile, Jennifer's romantic life is also percolating. Brandon
asks her on a date and she accepts. He takes the plunge because
he's tired of waiting for Sami to give up on Austin. If she can't
see that he's the one who really loves her, then it's Sami's loss.
Everything Happens For A Reason
Brandon and Jennifer arrive at the same restaurant where Greta is
trying to set the stage for a romantic rendezvous for Jack and Harold!
Plus, Jennifer is shocked to learn that Colin is in Salefm and that
he's engaged to be married! How will this news and Jack's deception
affect Jennifer's future. |
