JACK REACHES OUT TO HER HAND, TO STOP HER.

JACK: Don't even think about it.

ISABELLA: I'm starving.

JACK: I know that. We've just got to make sure they think we've eaten every doped bite of this stuff. Okay, time to feed Mr. Wall.

ISABELLA: Okay. It's not going to be much longer. We don't have to eat, right. We're only going to be here a little while longer.

JACK: Eh?

ISABELLA: Okay.

JACK: There you go. Hmm. Yum!
JACK KEEPS STUFFING FOOD DOWN INTO THE SLIT IN THE PADDED WALL.

JACK: Strong bodies, gold wings.

ISABELLA: The guards will be here any minute.

JACK: Good. I can't hold you off much longer.

ISABELLA: They're coming.

JACK: There they are. Okay, just lie down like you're asleep. Leave the plate. Okay.

ISABELLA: Okay.

SCENE TWO: AT ADRIENNE'S CONSTRUCTION COMPANY JUSTIN DROPS BY. HE AND HIS UNCLE VICTOR'S CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IS HER RIVAL. HE CONGRATULATES HER, AND OFFERS HER HIS HAND. SHE IS DUBIOUS AND WONDERS WHAT HE IS UP TO. IS HER MYSTERIOUS FOREMAN WORKING FOR THE KIRIAKISES, AND IS THERE AS A MOLE TO SABOTAGE ADRIENNE?

SCENE THREE: JACK AND ISABELLA LIE DOWN ON THEIR BEDS AND THE ATTENDANTS [HARD TO DISTINQUISH BETWEEN THE TWO] START YELLING FOR THEM TO PASS OUT THE TRAY. THEY LIE STILL PRETENDING THEY ARE DOPED. WHEN THE GUARDS GET NO ANSWER THEY COME IN THE ROOM.

THEY CHECK JACK AND THEN WALK OVER TO ISABELLA.

ATTENDANT2: What's going on in here?

ATTEDANT1: I guess those drugs we gave them worked. (Shaking Jack) Wake up!

ATTENDANT2: Check her. Come on lady. Hey, lady.

ATTENDANT1: (Slapping Jack) Wake up!

ATTENDANT2: (Shaking Isabella) Get up, hey! Hey, they ate most of it. I think we put too much of that stuff in it.

WHILE THEIR BACKS ARE TURNED, JACK GETS UP.

Jack and Isabella escape;
30 sec; 1 Meg

ATTENDANT1: (Rolling Isabella over) Well, there's only one way to find out.

JACK GETS BEHIND ATTENDANT1.

PUNCHES HIM WHILE ISABELLA THROWS A BLANKET OVER THE OTHER ONE.

THEY THEN MAKE A RUN FOR THE DOOR AND PULL IT SHUT AND LOCK IT.

JACK: Get out quick! Hey you guys try the lunch, it's a real sleeper. Okay, stay calm. They're in the Quiet Room and we're not.

ISABELLA: Jack, what are we going to do now?

JACK: We are going to walk out of here like two very sane people, walking out of a loony bin. We've got to find a phone.

ISABELLA: Okay. I know where one is. Follow me.

JACK: Follow you. Okay.

JACK FOLLOWS HER. NOT SO SURE.

SCENE FOUR: AND ISABELLA GO DOWN A FLIGHT OF STEPS.

ISABELLA: I can't believe we got away really simply.

JACK: We sure know how to use a body guard. Now we're still looking for Mr. Phone.

ISABELLA: I know where the phone is. Why?

JACK: Well, you don't think my car's still going to be here after all this time. We're going to need somebody to drive us away from this place once we get out.

ISABELLA: Jack, you're crazy. We can't trust anybody.

JACK: Will you just cut it out with the doom and gloom stuff? You're going to hex us. You better hope you're not right.

ISABELLA: Jack, who are we going to call?

JACK: Well, not the Ghostbusters.

THEY HEAR FOOTSTEPS.

JACK: Either it's them or it's not them. Just be cool. Keep walking.

ISABELLA: Follow me.

JACK: Okay.

SCENE FIVE: STEVE TELLS KAYLA THAT HE IS GOING TO SEE VICTOR, AND GIVE HIM WHAT HE WANTS, "ME." VICTOR IS AFTER STEVE, WITH MARINA DEAD, VICTOR BELIEVES THAT STEVE KNOWS WHERE THE KEY TO THE TOSCANO TREASURE IS.

SCENE SIX: JACK AND ISABELLA COME INTO A HALLWAY. JACK IS CASUALLY WHISTLING TO ACT COOL.

ISABELLA: Jack?

JACK: Huh?

ISABELLA: There's a phone.

Jack and Isabella look for a way out;
1:30 Min; 3.5 Meg

JACK: Where?

ISABELLA: Right behind us.

JACK: Oh. Just act calmly, coolly. Just go for the phone.

JACK PICKS IT UP IN A PANIC AND AN ALARM GOES OFF. THEY BOTH PANIC AND LOOK FOR SOMEWHERE TO HIDE. THEY FIND THE LAUNDRY ROOM UNLOCKED AND HIDE INSIDE. THE GUARDS WALK PAST.

ISABELLA: I think he's gone.

JACK: He'll be back.

ISABELLA: Yeah, you're right, we can't stay here.

JACK: We're going to need somebody's help if we're ever going to get away from this place.

ISABELLA: You keep saying that. Who's going to help us?

JACK: Steve? Steve.

ISABELLA: You say that like you're making a mistake.

JACK: Well, he might not show up.

ISABELLA: I've had enough of getting let down. I hope we can count on him.

JACK: Oh well, there's only one way to find out, isn't there?

ISABELLA: Where are you going?

JACK: You got a quarter?

ISABELLA: You're not going to try and use the phone, are you?

JACK: Hey, it's the next best thing to being there. Wish me luck, huh.

JACK OPENS THE DOOR AND PEEPS OUT.

JACK: All clear.

ISABELLA: Jack, be careful.

JACK: I know, I know. It's fine. It's all quiet on the Western Front. Come on.

SCENE SEVEN: JACK SHUTS THE DOOR AND LEAVES ISABELLA INSIDE. THEN HE GOES TO THE PHONE AND CALLS STEVE. STEVE IS NOT HOME; KAYLA ANSWER.

Jack calls Steve for help, but Kayla answers;
1:25 Min; 3 Meg

KAYLA: Hello.

JACK: Kayla, Kayla, where's Steve?

KAYLA: Who is this?

JACK: It's Jack. Can you get Steve for me? It's important.

KAYLA: I'm sorry he's not here. He just left.

JACK: DAMN!

KAYLA: Jack, what is it? What's going on?

JACK: Look Kayla, I need your help. You're all I've got. Please. Sorry you can't hear me over the siren. Look, I'm at the Bayview Sanitarium.

KAYLA: What are you doing there?

JACK: I can't explain it right now. Look Kayla, alright. Look I was trying to help you and Steve but everything got out of hand. I need somebody to take a car and drive down by the parkway, down by the front gate. You know where that is?

KAYLA: I think so.

JACK: Look, tell Steve. He'll do it if you tell him to, alright.

KAYLA: Jack I don't know what's going on.

JACK: Look it....

A GUARD COMES UP TO JACK.

ATTENDANT1: Hold it right there pal.

JACK: It's.... it's for you!

JACK JAMS THE PHONE INTO THE GUARD KNOCKS HIM OVER.

THEN HE RUNS BACK INTO THE LAUNDRY ROOM.

ISABELLA: Jack, what's happening?

JACK: Don't panic.

JACK PUSHES A LAUNDRY CART IN FRONT OF THE DOOR.

ISABELLA: Don't panic? We're trapped in here.

JACK: Oh better be in here than out there.

ISABELLA: What are we going to do?

JACK: Aaah, we're going to.... Sssshhh.... CHUTE, HERE SAUTE! How much do you weigh?

ISABELLA: What?

JACK: Don't worry about it.

JACK GOES OVER TO THE WALL AND LIFTS UP A LARGE FLAP DOOR LEADING TO THE LAUNDRY CHUTE.

JACK: Go in there.

ISABELLA CLIMBS IN.

ISABELLA: It's a long way down there.

JACK: I know. GO!

ISABELLA: You right behind me?

JACK: Right behind you. Go, go. Good luck! Because we're going to need it. OOOOOHHHH!

JACK SLIDES DOWN THE SAUTE HEAD FIRST. RIGHT BEHIND ISABELLA.
