stars as a high school basketball coach
in this indie flick, Winning Favor, about
high school basketball teams from Orange
City, Iowa which won the state's boys
high school basketball championship in
2005. In the News 4 Sioux City website,
Matt states , "I looked at it and
its really a lot of great things in it,
and I said ok I'd love to get behind this.
A chance to play a new and different role,
I'd been playing this one character Jack
Devereaux [sic] on Days of Our Lives for
the better part of 20 years, and one thing
he has never been is a coach."
