In a recent SOD (9/28/18) Podcast Missy Reeves mentioned New Years Eve as a return date for Jack -- I still am not sure if that is when Jack and Jennifer have their first scenes together but we see matthew prior to this, or if it is the Matthew's first screen re-appearance. As did Matthew, Missy mentioned working with Kassie De Paiva (Eve), so it seems that (at least initially) Eve is part of Jack's, and Jack's and Jennifer's storyline. Missy mentioned that initially she was worried the return would be "cheesy," but upon reading the scripts said she was excited, it is wonderful and "devestating." In his SOD comments, when in the above issue, Matthew also had praise for the return and what Head Writer Ron Carlivati had written, saying it was even better than how he would have writen Jack's return. During her podcast, Missy spoke about working with Matthew again, how they are like "an old married couple," and praised Matthew for creating something unique to daytime. In personal news, Matthew and his family, wife Lana (Buss), and children Henry and Willa have moved to the Berkshires, Massachuesetts. |

| The week of August 20th Kate Mansi -- who had recently returned to the role of Abigail -- posted photos on her Instagram accont of Matthew back on the set. There was no indication of the photos were taken that week or weeks earlier. |
